“I’m Paranoid” by Victoria Jackson

In 1981, I was held at gunpoint by a tall man with dreadlocks in the parking lot of the Variety Arts Center on Figueroa St. in downtown LA, as I was leaving my cigarette girl job with my bag full of 20 one dollar hard-earned bills. Tips. I wrote this song shortly thereafter and sang it on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. (NBC owns the film). All the recent talk about guns reminded me of this song. We not only need the 2nd Amendment to protect ourselves from criminals, we need guns to protect ourselves from the government… from tyranny. I do not trust our present administration. Read Mark Levin’s book, “Liberty Vs. Tyranny.”
