During Thursday’s White House briefing, press secretary Josh Earnest said that because the Planned Parenthood sting videos were obtained “fraudulently,” they couldn’t be used to draw conclusions about the organization’s ethical standards. “Has the White House had any communication with Planned Parenthood about standardizing procedures for fetal tissue research? Has the White House had any concerns about illegalities in this realm? Have you had any sort of investigation, or are you considering one?” asked Fox News’ Doug McKelway. “Not that I’m aware of,” Earnest responded. “I think Planned Parenthood has been quite specific about the policies and procedures that they have in place, and I know they have described those policies and procedures as living up to the highest ethical standards.” “As I mentioned, based on the essentially fraudulent way in which these videos have been released, there’s not a lot of evidence right now that Planned Parenthood hasn’t lived up to those standards,” he said.
As if to preemptively rebut Earnest’s claim, The Center For Medical Progress had prior released the full 2-hours and 40-minutes of unedited footage (as they have done for each previous video) which you can watch here:
