Congressman Trey Gowdy issued a scolding face-to-face rebuke to Marielena Hincapie, the executive director of the National Law Center after the open borders and amnesty advocate suggested at a congressional hearing that the only reason Republicans tend to oppose Obama’s unconstitutional amnesty executive orders is because he happens to be black. “You suggested race was the basis for why we may have this constitutional perspective; did I understand you correctly?” Rep. Gowdy asked Hincapie in a confrontational tone that immediately lets one know that she’s about to get annihilated. When Hincapie began with a convoluted response, Gowdy jumped in. “Well, let me offer another explanation to you, okay,”Gowdy began. “Not a single Republican who is here right now has ever served under a Republican president — not one. So I hope I do live long enough to hold a Republican president to the exact same standard that I am holding this one. But for you to run to race as the explanation for why we hold the position that we do…Harry Reid had a very different perspective on recess appointments when there was a Texan in the White House,” Gowdy continued, shining a light on the Democrat Party’s utter hypocrisy. “And none of us accused him of geographic discrimination,” he pointed out.
