As reported by WSB News. A federal judge ruled the Obama administration failed to allow for public input when it told schools to let transgender students use the bathroom and locker room of their choice.
The ruling is a victory for 13 states that were challenging the constitutionality of the policy, including Georgia.
The White House says the directive is not legally binding
“I recognize that there are people eager to play politics with an issue like this just a few months before a national election,” White House spokesperson Josh Earnest said. (more on this story here)
