There’s been an awful lot of stonewalling from the Obama administration on Benghazi…and not a whole lot of answers. That’s where Trey Gowdy comes in.
The legal-minded lawmaker from South Carolina was in fine form on Tuesday, as he grilled Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Joel Rubin on why so many of the requested documents from the administration have not been turned over to the committee. “If you have time for condom demonstrations or culinary diplomacy, I think you have time to comply with a legitimate request for documents from Congress,” Gowdy informed the rather smug Rubin. Oh, snap.
