Haley, a young lady who was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome at age 15, is a huge Tim Tebow fan. She’s wanted to meet the football star for a very long time. So Tebow’s W15H program made it happen, and in the process, treated Haley like a princess. The program is part of the Tim Tebow Foundation’s outreach initiative, which grants children with life-threatening illnesses the chance to meet Tebow, all the while fulfilling any desire they might have. Haley’s visit to Scottsdale, Arizona, included an airplane tour of the Grand Canyon, pampering in a presidential suite, and the chance to throw out the first pitch at a Diamondbacks game. Tebow was often by her side, prayed with her and her family, and spent quality time with them. His selfless act of kindness helped Haley forget about her illness, if only for a moment, and focus on being a kid and enjoying herself.
