Did NBC Push Too Far in Bringing Olympian Bode Miller to Tears?

Bode Miller won a bronze medal in the men’s super-G at the Sochi Games over the weekend, becoming the oldest Alpine medalist in Olympic history, at 36 years and 127 days. Miller dedicated the race and the medal to his younger brother, Chelone Miller, who died in April. After the race, Miller was interviewed by NBC’s Christin Cooper, who angered many viewers with what they felt was an over-the-top line of questioning designed to make Bode Miller cry. Miller has since responded by tweeting: “I appreciate everyone sticking up for me. Please be gentle w christin cooper, it was crazy emotional and not all her fault.” & “My emotions were very raw, she asked the questions that every interviewer would have, pushing is part of it, she wasnt trying to cause pain.”
