Fiorina Was Asked to Name Woman To Place On $10 Bill…No One Expected This Answer

Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina said that she wouldn’t put a woman on the $10 bill during the CNN debate Wednesday. In light of the announcement from the U.S. Department of the Treasury that a woman would be featured on the $10 bill, currently displaying Alexander Hamilton, each candidate was asked which woman in history he or she would suggest. The former Hewlett-Packard CEO declined to answer the question by stating, “I wouldn’t change the $10 bill or the $20 bill. I think honestly it’s a gesture. I don’t think it helps to change our history. What I would think is that we ought to recognize that women are not a special interest group.”
