AMEN to that. She was great.!

  • carolrhill814

I couldn’t agree with her more if I tried because – has put us into more danger and – doesn’t care at all.

  • monacall

She’s done. But GOD BLESS HER.

  • surj

Very well said. Now see http://www.thereligionofpeace.com

They asked the contestants tougher questions than the press ask President Obama.

  • phxgeo

So refreshing! A young person who thinks for themselves and has the confidence to express her opinion. May God Bless her. I am confident that this reply will open many worthwhile doors for her. Honesty, becoming a lost value in our Country, is still the best policy!

he really said nothing. “I agree with getting our guy back but we should not subject ourselves to these terrorists” What does that mean? There was no substance there.

  • Mathematical certainty

She obviously had not heard or grasped the full story.

  • Gabe T

That term is used so fricken loosely…. TERRORISM… Whatever dude, one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter. I do however disagree with the trading one guy for 5 anti-USA insurgents — let’s just use that term instead,

  • cbj

The desired policy is to TRY not to leave any soldier behind, but it happens in every war.
Bird-dog left himself behind when he deserted his post.
The question was designed to get an answer to make Obama look a little less stupid, and it did not work.

  • Gwen

She did well in answering this question. Beautiful and intelligent on matters. Why didn’t they ask about the poor REAL MARINE being held in Mexico who is the real HERO>.

    • Tina Anthony

Not to cut the marine held in Mexico, but he is not a hero just because he missed a turn. The term hero is now used very loosely, being a hero means doing some thing above and beyond the call of duty knowing that you could be harmed or killed, like stepping in front of someone that is being shot at or going in to a live fire fight to carry out a wounded comrade knowing that you are likely to be wounded too. Now people are being called a hero for just doing their job and it is taking away from the meaning of being a real hero !

      • Gerg

Two Tours In Afghanistan? Yes, he is a Hero. He’s also a US Marine who is being unjustly held by a corrupt organization in a foreign prison for merely making a wrong turn. Deserves being immediately freed far more than a known deserter! But thanks for playing.

She is truly and a patriotic and courageous young lady. However, her answer may have cost her the crown which probably pissed off the judges who were probably left-wing liberals.

I wish her all the best! We need more young people like her to help hold this great country together.

  • DollarBill

    I agree with her 100%.

  • Lloydl333

You go girl. What a great young lady.
