Caleb Bonham reacts to what President Obama told graduates at Ohio State University’s graduation commencement ceremony: “Unfortunately, you’ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that’s at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. They’ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave, [...]
(Audio Only) On his radio show on Monday (5/6/13), Mike Huckabee predicted that President Obama will not complete his second term due to the administration’s handling of the attack on the U.S. consulate Benghazi. Comparing it to Watergate, Huckabee asserted the Benghazi “cover-up” is “more serious.” “I believe that before it’s all over, this president will not fill out his full term,” the former Arkansas governor posited. “I know that puts me on a limb, but this is not minor. Remember that little Benghazi incident? That’s old news, according to White House press secretary Jay Carney. During his daily press briefing, Carney was asked about rumors that Benghazi whistleblowers are being prevented from testifying about the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks. The White House spokesman denied the allegations. “Let’s be clear,” Carney said. “Benghazi happened a long time ago. We are unaware of any agency blocking an employee who would like to appear before Congress to provide information related to Benghazi.” [...]
“Now let’s set the record straight. There’s no argument over the choice between peace and war, but there’s only one guaranteed way you can have peace—and you can have it in the next second—surrender. Admittedly, there’s a risk in any course we follow other than this, but every lesson of history tells us that the greater risk lies in appeasement, and this is the specter our well-meaning liberal friends refuse to face—that their policy of accommodation is appeasement, and it [...]
