5-Foot Female Gymnast Absolutely Crushes ‘American Ninja Warrior’ Obstacle Course

Leave it to a former Division I gymnast to conquer an incredibly difficult obstacle course in front of a live audience and millions of viewers worldwide. On Monday, when Towson University graduate Kacy Catanzaro took on the finals course in Dallas for competition sports show “American Ninja Warrior,” she not only made it to the final round of the U.S. contest, she also made history. The 5-foot, 100-pound gymnast became the first female contestant to qualify for the competition’s final round. With her win Monday, she’ll next head to Las Vegas where she’ll go to head-to-head with dozens of finalists from around the country who all conquered each of the physically strenuous stages.
