Trey Gowdy Absolutely Obliterates IRS Commissioner Over ‘Lost’ Lerner Emails

Representative Trey Gowdy really went after IRS Commissioner John Koskinen during Monday’s hearing when he said he hadn’t reviewed the criminal code pertaining to the IRS record keeping, but just used his “common sense” to say there was no wrongdoing. Watch the full exchange above.

However, this Commissioner still “crying all the way to bank”!! Stop bashing this man and throw him in jail where he belongs!

    • docdave1

I hope I’m wrong, but I predict that NOTHING will be done about this or any of the plethora of unlawful actions by people in the big gov.

      • Jeff Wade

I’m with you, docdave1. But calling won’t accomplish any more than Mr. Gowdy’s tough talk. You just get an answering machine, or some assistant who could care less. Check this out: Either we’ll win a bloody revolution, or our kids will be communist when they grow up. No revolution, no change. Lose the revolution, no change. One of these things will happen, I’d bet my life on it.

        • http://www.comcast.net/ Rick

I would tend to agree with you Jeff.

          • Jeff Wade

Thanks Rick. I feel that way sincerely, but I hate it. Sad and scary at the same time, right?

        • RonertG

Jane Fonda, Lois Lerner and Kathleen Sibelius all on the same gallows, just a little tear in my eye :-)

I’m for getting rid of the entire Rollo Tomasi administration via electric bleachers; the entire country will go dark for a few seconds.

          • egalicki

Tremendous perfectly appropriate device – I work with high voltage and high power – millions of volts and hundreds of thousands of amps – sounds perfect for the present situation. Charge the capacitors correctly and we won’t even have the dark seconds – capacitors charge slowly and then are dumped all at once – like in the old days when the camera had a few seconds to change for the flash.

          • bet1125

            Nice looking Sporty there..

What about Pelosi – Boxer – Feinstein – Rangel – Reed -Holder – Durbin – etc etc ?

          • Sugar sugar

Let’s just clean out the whole Democratic party to make sure we get them all, and many RINO’s as well.

          • egalicki

How about all rino’s and all semi-rino’s?

          • Sugar sugar

Wha? What happened to Hillary?! Hers should have the 1st chair kicked out from under her (figure of speech)

        • Raymond Michael Borland

I tend to disagree. yes, there are sheeple who don’t know and don’t care but in polls now 505 of the people think Obama should be impeached and is doing a horrible job as president. The numbers of scandals, the blatant lies from Obama and others, the daily usurpation of the Constitution and of the power delegated to Congress, all are causing an uproar in the people like never heard before. Obama’s day are numbers as are his cronies and supporters. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, Elijah Cummings, etc are all looking like blatant liars and idiots.

      • Evermyrtle

Trey is a brave, honest, go git em’ man but he has so few backing him, we need a house full like him and hen we would get DC cleaned out. but too many either are on the wrong side, don’t give rip or are scared to open their mouths, “what will people think” as their main thought. There are few thoughts and care about, “How are we, or how can we get out this mess and still be alive!” Even though it may seem hopeless Trey is one that is not giving up without a fight, if only all responsible would follow him..

        • Raymond Michael Borland

Contact Trey Gowdy and Darryl Issa and tell them how much you support and appreciate their efforts. Tell democratic supporters how they have failed the people, the country and the Constitution.

        • egalicki

If the are not joining him they are cooperating and supporting the other side. BAY-ner and all the rest are equally as guilty as the demoncraps.

    • http://www.downtoearththinking.com/ Down to Earth Thinking

That is why the regime keeps changing heads of agencies? Because the last guy was guilty ? They have no way to arrest this guy because he was not the guy at the time ? so what we should do is arrest the original; criminals or at least take away their bonuses and current pay ? a far as stop hounding him , not even , beat the tar out of him so he caves in and gives evidence. Why cut any slack for these criminals ?

  • Beachtennisguy

The Honorable Trey Gowdy (R – SC) makes me proud to be a registered Republican. We may not agree on everything, e.g., so-called immigration reform, but the US would be far better off with Trey Gowdy in the White House or as Majority Leader.

It’s ironic that this honorable gentlemen as term-limited himself.

These are dark times for patriotic believers. You’ve got to admire a man who stares evil madness in the face, calls it what it is, and rejects its lies and deception.

    • SandraJ

Well said; he makes me proud, too. Go get ‘em, Trey; hold ‘em accountable.

  • HDA

The only way to fix things is to drive all those corrupted tyrannical individuals out of their offices and taken straight to jail until judged, because of obstruction to criminal investigations.

  • pointdan

We the People need to DEMAND the abolishment of the IRS. It is corrupt beyond repair.
EVERY candidate for EVERY office in November must state how he/she stands on this issue.
IF they won’t vote to abolish it, then we do not vote for them.
ABOLISH THE IRS NOW !!! Go TEA Party !!!

  • steve69licks

These people don’t need jail time what they need is to be blindfolded and put in front of a firing squad, Then you’d see all the other rats coming out of the woodwork to protect themselves.

    • egalicki

It has always seemed like a reasonable scenario that a few judges making wrong decisions finding this happening to them – squad or a lone patriot – and judges might start thinking about how their decision might affect them. Same with senators, congressmen etc. Doesn’t it seem like if there were some risk involved to them personally they might think and vote differently? Or am I completely mistaken?

  • http://www.downtoearththinking.com/ Down to Earth Thinking

We need a lot more Gowdy’s in congress? With simple common sense and using their excuses against them , he makes all the right points. He is THINKING and that is the difference . And that is what we all must do to fully grasp how to defeat these criminals. Pretty obvious most in congress are NOT the smart guys they told you they were . Hey ?

And for all those who say it doesn’t matter or it is not enough ? I ask you what is your solution or suggestion ? This is the place to start , by getting in their face with logic and facts. We need to have nation wide protest and boycotts and let our voices be heard by the numbskulls in DC ! They will listen if we demand accountability because we have massive numbers and they are creatures of polls and public opinion. If we do nothing as we have so far we will deserve what we get ! We actually have all the power because we fund the entire mess ! Get off the couch and let’s do something !

  • Macjamm

Everyone on the left always does the self righteous indignation thing, we said we are innocent and that’s the end of it,, any further investigation is just racist and or a conspiracy theory,.. But it’s a good thing we have got a bloodhound like Trey Gowdy to sniff them out and call a spade a spade ,…”No racism intended”,…

  • 2War Abn Vet

We have an IRS Commissioner who either is a clueless imbecile or a corrupt liar (I vote both).

    • bet1125

That is what’s commonly known as a rhetorical statement, lol.

  • dave

Gowdy needs to run for President. Night and day between Gowdy and obama.

  • randolph.poole

I’ve been watching Trey Gowdy for the last couple of years. This guy is outstanding! His ability to shred the blithering, incomprehensible crap that this administration and its minions uses to justify and/or defend its actions is a sight to behold! His secret…he uses logic and common sense.

  • jonbernal

This is a classic example of what happens when a corrupt government regime runs roughshod over all constitutional constraints. These people are LAWLESS … they admit, they don’t even know the laws they are breaking. They just figure that all they have to say is “there isn’t a smidgeon of corruption” or, I’m basing my answer on “common sense” – and the stupid Obama supporters along with the media that drugs them with lies and half-truths will swallow it, package it and trowel it out to the idiot voters out there. Trey brings it all home: this is the LAW these people are breaking – not just some common sense ideas they’re trying out to advance their agenda.

  • sashamanda

I honestly don’t know how Democrats stay silent about political targeting by the IRS, about fast and furious, about Benghazi, etc and continue to live with themselves.

    • egalicki

This means they are sociopaths. They don’t recognize itis wrong to cause the death of human beings in such places as Bengazi, Fast and furious, Planned Perenthood etc.

  • Robert G

The short drop gallows are looking better all the time. Trey Howdy rocks.

  • djw663

    Love Trey Gowdy!

  • Lou

Thought Koskinen was gonna cry. Wahhhh!

    • bet1125

If they would have given Gowdy a few more minutes, you would have seen it.

  • Eliott

I would love to smack that smug look right off that (*^*&&*% face. Trey, YOU ARE THE MAN!

  • Spoony

Tiger Trey took a big chunk out of the commissioner’s ass; I thought I heard it ripping though the sound system. It’s a wonder the commissioner was able to stand up after that exchange! He didn’t look so arrogant after the Tiger got through with him. Can’t wait until the next round; that is if the commissioner is able to appear!

  • Vietnam1968

The idea of bread and circuses, It worked to help bring down the Roman Empire, why not us? As long as you keep the sheeple entertained and fed they won’t even notice that America is on a downward slide. And I too would like Trey Gowdy as President. I real smart patriotic American who loves our country. Gowdy and Obama, as different as day and night. LOL

  • Jim53

Trey Gowdy for President ….STARTING TOMORROW.

  • Ovomit1

I guess Trey…forgot he was explaining statues and law to an empty suit democrat dunce- now mention homosexual rights, racism, and Islamophobia and this cockroach would have been as happy as a pig in slop

  • Rachel Guess

In other words, Koskinen’s defense is ‘I haven’t looked into it, I don’t intend to look into it, and therefore I am not aware of any criminal behavior’, and this is the nitwit that is running the IRS and is in charge of the odimwitcareTAX handling of the nation’s healthcare. I think it may be time to file against everyone in this administration under RICO.

  • Amber

Trey Gowdy should be declared a national treasurer and be protected at all costs.

  • Wise2theGame

    Beautiful!!

  • Tina

Gowdy for President!!! Seems he might be the only man in Washington with any guts.

  • Ron

Trey is great and I wish we had more like him in the Congress but I don’t think so. This IRS fellow surely spoke out of turn. He has no basis to support what he was saying. Just because Obama says there is no corruption does not make it so. Shoot, his whole admin is corrupt and he is the leader.

  • egalicki

I know who to call, I believe the half breed imposter woman-hating interloper called them – that’s how come we don’t have any more osambinladens.

  • maybeperfect

Lord, I do surely enjoy listening to Mr. Gowdy taking these hapless, gormless budgerigars to the woodshed. Sooner or later maybe one will start to sing like a canary.

  • Mac Boy

    Just WATERBOARD the SoB !!!

  • majorpain7777
  • chinqua

I love Trey Gowdy. We need him as President.

  • pupster40

    What a good little 0bot.

  • Al Chemist

Trey Gowdy had better watch his back. There is a high probability of an accident for people who start to irritate Bill or Hillary Clinton…and now Obama and the Moose.

  • wizard

This Commissioner is stonewalling. How convenient that only Lerner’s data crashed. It certainly can be inferred that it contained information that would be detrimental to the IRS. His plea of ignorance does not ring true.

  • Jayne Nielsen

This just goes to show the American people how truly arrogant the IRS is. I hope this is just the beginning of a tremendous uprising against the IRS just like Nevada did against the BLM. And where is loud-mouth Dirty Harry Reid? I’m surprised he isn’t honking his horn in favor of the IRS.

  • K2mbs

Why has it been 6+ years of cowering to these criminals in the democrat party?
Trey Gowdy shows just how easy it can be to beat down virtually every aspect of the democrats dysfunctional machine when a conservative will stand up with conviction!!
    Throw out the RINOS!!

  • Stan Parrish

Wow. Trey Gowdy really tore that guy a brand new anal orifice. Too bad we don’t have sharp but honest officeholders like Trey instead of the sleazy incompetent slime-balls running all through the current administration.

  • Billy Bob Johnson

Trey (Gomer) Gowdy and all the other right wingers owe Mr. Koskenin an apology for the rude and disrespectful treatment they gave to a testifying witness before the House of Representatives. All may not like the IRS but must be respectful to those witnesses testifying before a House of Representative committee.
