Gas Price Hypocrisy

In 2006 the Democrats and the media screamed bloody murder over the high price of gas. When Barack Obama was inaugurated, the average gas price was $1.87 a gallon. Now that the price has more than doubled, what are the Democrats and the administration saying now? If you guessed that high gas prices under Obama are somehow a good thing, give yourself a pat on the back. The liberal mindset is always an amazing thing to behold.

    What a crock of “Bovine Fecal Matter!” Over 1,000 people a month NOT killed because of a reduction in particulate matter? Oh come on. I suppose that another 1,000 a month aren’t killed because they can’t afford to drive either! I don’t know about most people, but I’d love to see $2.00 a gallon gas again, so I could afford to go out for dinner with my wife once in a while, so I could afford to visit my kids and grandkids, and so they could afford the same.

    Politicians , do not have to worry about gas prices , since first of all, they can use OUR money aside from the salaries WE pay them. What do they care? They will never feel the pinch that you and I feel every time prices on the barest of goods go up. They just give themselves raises without asking us if we can afford them. It’s high time we reduced their salaries by 45%, and reduce our taxes instead.

    My job REQUIRES having a full sized pickup truck as do many. I have to drive all over the area on my own gas. I CANNOT afford to get to work with these gas prices.

    Evidence of exactly how OUT OF TOUCH the obama administration is. He thinks I should go out and BUY a new vehicle??? Food and a roof are more important!!! FIRE OBAMA NOW!

    This is what we who were either in the military (or still are) would call a Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Moment. Apparently the years of smoking pot and snorting cocaine has done considerable damage to the brain cells of these Progressives. Out here in the real world, which exists outside of the Media Bubble, these gas prices have caused many people to take Staycations instead of real vacations, call in sick due to the inability to afford to fill the tank, among other things. This is what happens when the government is allowed to get out of control, and run by megalomaniacs.

    Durring the second debate O said gas prices were the same as wall street the housing bubble and so on. So why when the bubble burst did gas prices double when that bubble burst?. Seems to me gas prices would have been cut in half whe the bubble burst just like home values

    Whoa! Now it not just ” how many jobs Obama has created”, now it’s also…” How many lives Obama has saved”. I specifically remember how Bush was crucified for gas prices, how liberals declared that Bush and Cheney had invaded Iraq for the oil. What do Liberals say now? Gas prices are saving lives!
