This is an open statement from one very concerned American to the rest of us who believe in America.
We are at an extremely crucial juncture in our history. As the name suggests United States is defined by the 50 states that are united. But no matter how united, and expansive, the geography alone is meaningless without its citizens who make decision about its welfare. In other words, it is totally incumbent upon us as “the people” to see that it prospers in every possible way.
For the past 4 years, under the current administration we have seen downward spiral in ways that we had never witnessed before. It is very accurate to say that during past administrations, Republican or Democrats, we have erred, faltered and may have made decisions that later we regretted. BUT NEVER IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS AS WE HAVE UNDER THIS PRESIDENT. It is also true that president Obama inherited problems from his predecessor, for which he had no control. No one disputes that.
Regardless of any negative influences inherited or otherwise, Central to any commande-in-chief’s responsibility is to focus on abilities and experience that could translate in an overall progress. Sadly, president Obama has not shown that. Four precious years have gone by and not much has been accomplished; in fact, as an example, not one bill has been passed in democratically controlled senate!!, and not much was accomplished when Obama had the advantage of liberal majority in both houses. A primary reason I mention this, is because he has been unable to help create consensus in both parties in order to accomplish things. In fact not only has he not created fluidity and cooperation in congress, the likes of which President Clinton and Ronald Reagan werre able to accomplish, he has further added to alienation and the resulting political gridlock. This is just one miniscule example of his experiential inadequacies in the overall mosaic of his failures.
There are of course many other example well-known to the American people. I’ll just name a few: Economy, deficit, Joblessness, the housing market, immigration, stimulus and green energy failures, the foreign policy, lack of support for our ally, Israel, lackadaisical attitude toward nuclear Iran, weakening of our image in the world by ineffective policy and appeasement and I could go on and on. One can assume that any one of the above is harmful to the well-being of the United States. Can you imagine what they have already done in combination? Truly, I don’t believe this president has any clue as to how severely his amateurish policies are hurting our country. Speeches with rolled-up sleeves, simulating the common hard-working faithful, (another perceptual ploy), and even mimicking dialectical tones to embellish the rhetoric are quite a clever ploy and are abound. Promises the likes of which help elect Obama in 2008 are still plentiful and is a daily reminder (in this very close contest) that, that’s what got him the presidency in the first place. A savvy politician like Obama would never hesitate to participate in various events and anniversaries of the notables to gain political points and do so unabashedly at the expense of rejecting all-important world events that require hands-on leadership. Mr. Obama wasted no time, for instance, in participating to celebrate Cesar Chavez’ milestone. How offensive to be compared to the legacy of the man who spent almost all of his life in total strife on behalf of the under-privileged? One could easily say: Mr. president, you are no Cesar Chavez and not even Bill Clinton.
So what is the alternative? Based on the above, just about anyone. I could of course easily mention Mitt Romney, but if no one knows that by now they should not vote!!
Here is a man who is knowledgeable, bright, experienced, has business sense, a job creator, rational, conciliator, freedom lover and a true American and a principled individual true to himself, his family, loves his country, with no tinge of fanaticism and no need for on the job training.
On November the 6th as the deciders of our own destiny as well as that of our children and grand children we have an unbelievable obligation and a duty too, to make a determination as to who we want to lead us for the next 4 years. Based on the constitutional road map that our founding fathers put before us the choice is undisputedly Governor Mitt Romney.

Bill Maher brought up the gun issue again tonight to slam liberals for not being tough enough, but the segment quickly turned into a heated argument between Michael Moore and S.E. Cupp. Cupp defended gun rights to assorted boos from Maher’s audience, while Moore repeatedly dismissed her arguments on a gun registry, publishing the personal information of gun owners, and even statistics on school shootings.
Rep. Paul Ryan said Sunday the IRS targeting of conservative groups “is arrogance of power, abuse of power, to the nth degree” and vowed the investigation into the misconduct will continue. “Look, people have no trust that their government is being impartial,” the Wisconsin Republican said on “Fox News Sunday.” “This is arrogance of power, abuse of power, to the nth degree, and we’re going to get to the bottom of this.”
