‘Fed Up’ Gingrich Calls Out Media On Extremism In Democratic Platform

Newt Gingrich appeared on “Meet The Press” this past weekend to talk about the Democrat Party’s support for abortion at 8-9 months. Liberal “journalist” Tom Friedman then offers a weak rebuttal to Newt.

      Well, if a doctor pulling a baby out of the womb breach, (since liberals have decided that a breach birth with the head not exposed is still not a person), taking a sharp instrument and severing the neck…then inserting through the incision, a vacuum to suck the brains out of a baby is something to be proud of, then then get those cards to prove your lack of character.

        After the first trimester, abortion becomes dangerous to the woman and rare. However, if the life of the mother is at stake, the choice is a living woman or a potentially viable fetus. Today, such events are very rare thanks to better medicene and ceasarian births. But they must remain legal for those rare cases. Tragic to be sure but occasionally necessary. This is not a whim driven decision but is a medical matter.
        One cannot equate morning after pills with infantide or the difficult choice of which life the doctor can save.
        Why must people keep dropping the context of discussions to prove their point without keeping the full facts in mind?
        By the way, that is one reason I like Mr Gingrich – he has more facts at his mind’s use and seems unafraid to state them. He also tends to keep them to the argument at hand rather than loosing track and demonizing in a more general way.

    Even people who are pro choice and would approve the distruction of a fetus if the mother’s life or health were at stake, would agree that if a mostly born fetus were viable it should be then treated as any other infant. Some cannot be saved but that is no reason to not treat it with the care and dignity of a human being.
    Mr Obama’s ideas are far more radical than anything the right proposes. Of course, the choice need not be that black and white. One can defend a woman’s rights without insisting that others pay for her care without respecting the rights the payers. There are reasonable answers if one examines all the facts.
    This is typical of democrats rhetoric which ignores the fact that it was they who introduced radical leftist thinking into the Democratic Party shutting out moderates and then blaming the Republicans for fighting back.
    Perhaps, the clear choice is for the good, but there are better ways to discussing ideas than fighting on the edge of a cliff. The current Obama – Reid – Pelosi administration is what drove us to it. Yes, I know Pelosi is not the speaker, but she and Reid were when they precipitated the problems that lead to the crises in those last two years of the Bush presidency.

    This make me want to change to the GOP party. I fed up with the democrats .They do not see how bad things are . They trying to tell me things are ok when they know they aren’t. I still paying too much for gas and other iteme. I paying too much for energy and they want it to go up some more .That does not seem very smart to me. They want to tax me more so they can buy things for others.
