    Those same white officials that make racial statements against whites trying to hold them to a much different standard than blacks deserve a personal lesson, if only they got beaten by a black mob then perhaps they would have a different way of thinking.

      I can’t stand “hyphenated” Americans. If being “American” isn’t good enough for you, you should leave. I have enough Cherokee blood in me to claim “Native-American” status but, just plain American is good enough for me.

        I agree. So many people use the hyphenated terms incorrectly. I used to get into trouble every September when completing the information forms in school that are for ‘statistical’ and taxation purposes. The forms used to ask for your Nationality rather than race or color or any other ethnic identity you might use. I always put American in the nationality block knowing full well that the teachers would say it needed to be corrected to Irish-American—I would tell them my father said I am an American just my ancestors were Irish and English and Scottish and I would not change it. So, a note would go home detailing my punishment and setting a meeting with the parents……….Dad always went in and gave the teachers and principal a lesson in Civics, history or whatever else they needed. He would explain that my grandfather born in Britain, came to the United States of America and gained American citizenship in addition to his British citizenship so he correctly could be called a British-American.
        Those who come here from other countries and gain citizenship can call themselves whatever-American. There is a difference between your nationality and your ethnic heritage. I am an American of Irish, English and Scottish heritage. Barack Obama is an American of German and African heritage – he is not an African-American nor is every black person in this country African-American. Calling every American who happens to be black an African-American would be like calling every American who is Caucasian a European-American and every American of Asian descent an Asian-American and so on. We are all Americans whether of Asian, European, Indian, Middle Asian, African, Native American Indian or otherwise, we are still Americans — and we should all be proud to be so.

    Walter Williams is absolutely great, and from this speech, he is a true American. I served in the US Army for 23 years. I had black, hispanics, orientals, you name it, under my command and I never saw anything like what is going on under the obama administration. Thank you Mr. Williams.

If they would only get over the poor black you made us slaves attitudes.Yes, there were slaves but 600,000 white men died for their freedom but you don’t hear them saying how grateful they are that they live in this freedom. How would their lives be if we didn’t bring them here I wish we hadn’t what their lives would be in Africa. I am tired of that and if they don’t like whites or anyone else.     Every time a white man open his mouth and says something ,he could be label a racists, because the Civil Rights Bill of 1964 gave all white women minority status. So what this means is that every person living in the U.S. is a minority except the white male.

    I am not racist but every time one turns around some Afro American is screaming at the top of their voice “racist!” This is ridiculous! I believe all people are the same and the color of ones skins should NOT determine anything, one way or the other. It has been forced down many peoples’ throats to be color blind. Where is this color blind concept? If people are so insecure and use their race as an advantage point then they are not mentally ready to accept more responsibility.

    It would be so simple to turn things around here. All we would have to do is make sure that every “racially named and motivated program and organization end up with so much publicity, bad press and litigation for racism that the black only groups and other similar groups end up with so much reverse discrimination litigation that they have to shut down. Maybe the African Americans for Obama should be the first ones to face this kind of intense attention. Pretty much everyone on this planet knows the kind of attention any white group would get under similar circumstances. The heads and membership of such a white group would have no end to the outcry and the charges. They would be ultimately crucified. We all know it.

    If I had made this video, I’d be labeled a racist since I’m white. We see it everywhere. When my daughter applied for a college scholarship, she had to make a 25 on the ACT to receive the same consideration that a black student got with an ACT score of only 17. That’s not equality. There will always be SOME racists in this country. Extremists on BOTH ends of the issue, black and white. But, in my humble opinion, racism as an institution will cease to exist in America when BLACK people let it go. The NAACP’s, and the Jesse Jackson’s, and the Al Sharpton’s and the Charlie Rangel’s, and the Jerimiah Wright’s keep the enmity alive because it makes them rich and famous to do so. Come on…..96% of all black voters voted for Obama….do you really think it wasn’t because he was black? If I had voted for John McCain because he was white, then I’d be a racist. I expect that at least 80% of black voters will support Obama AGAIN, for the same reason. Their support surely has not been warranted since black unemployment is around twice the national average and their are more black people classified as “in poverty” than ever in our nation’s history. The record of this administration certainly doesn’t warrant that level of support, therefore the reason for it is patently obvious. Racism.
