    He misspoke, he did’nt say he wanted to remove another country from the Earth, so lets move on. If every politician who made a stupid comment were removed from office for doing so, we would not have to worry about term limits.

    Unfortunately, the only way this will be ignored in this campaign is for Akin to resign. Don’t like it but, that’s the way it is. We can’t afford to ose that seat.

      Resigning will be seen as guilt, even though he made a stupid comment and we need his seat for the Presidential election as well as for Senate majority, the Liberal News will be all over this anyway.Would his replacement be able to defeat McCaskill?

    I am impressed with his apology. It was sincere. He understands his mistake. I would vote for him based on his attitude shown here. I don’t know if others will though.
