    Thank you for sharing this story why Hollywood has changed from the days of The Three Stooges era which was we love America to trash city movies.

    I remember in the late 60′s there was a freak out in sociaity that communist where here in Hollywood I lived there then and it was so true communism did move into Hollywood then. Now looking back that was a perfect place to do that. Hollywood was filled with gulliable people, and many who lived in the twilight zone on drugs.

        Most Americans have no idea that we live in a REPUBLIC. They believe we have a DEMOCRACY. They have no idea what the difference is, and few know that we borrowed a great deal from the old Magna Carta of Richard The Lionheart for our Constitution. Go figure. I believe that 60% of voting Americans are imbeciles in the truest sense.

          I would also say that to equate “democracy” with communism/socialism is also an oxymoron. There is NO democracy there and espcially no vote of the proletariate.

    Joanne: I am 72 and saw the same as you. The reason actors say what they do is because it affects their careers in Hollywood. If you are a Conservative, you had better be big time or you won’t find much work. This in not new and has been going on for decades now.
    The directors, screen writers and others involved in the making of a movie will not challenge a big box office draw who is a Conservative as they are afraid of the backlash. A few did though with Clint Eastwood and look what happened.

      Well, I have pretty much been doing what the one host of Politi-Chicks has suggested: Not going to see too many films (the last motion picture I watched was “Courageous”, released last Summer). And I cannot stomach anything on the major Networks. More than likely I’ll probably cancel my cable in the near future.

    Time for all Conservatives to gang up on those degenerates in Hollywood and stop going to their movies. We are empowering these so called actors by making them millionaires. Once they make that kind of money, they do NOT care about the ” little” people any more. At that point , they need all the help they can get from the current topmost politicians to try and keep as much of their money as possible. And , being so in love with themselves, they want to be seen with the highest level politicians of the land. I cannot remember the last time I gave any real money to any movie actor moron.
    My exceptions, old Kirk Douglas, Jimmy Stewart, Charlton Heston and Clint Eastwood movies.

      Yet…they refuse to acknowledge that they ARE promoting communism and refuse to own the word. That whole “lean forward” campaign slogan is also right out of marx. Again….yet…..it “isn’t” and we’re all fools for thinking any kind of communist thought is alive today………………or something.
