Romney Campaign Ad: No Evidence

“Just like he did against Hillary Clinton, President Obama now continues to spread dishonest attacks about Mitt Romney to distract from his failed record. Even though fact check after fact check have found his claims to be false, he continues to not tell the truth to the American people. It is no wonder why our country has lost confidence in his leadership.” -The Romney Campaign

I Don’t understand why anyone would want to be a democrat when thier platform is against the teachings found in the BIBLE. Don

They are also against common sense. You can’t have one without the other!

Obama has NEVER told the truth ….. about anything …… ever ……. except, that he would “fundamentally transform America” …….. and he’s doing a ‘bang-up’ job of that!
I don’t recognize my country any more.

@Don… I’m not sure what THE BIBLE has to do with our country having been founded as a SECULAR, CAPITALISTIC, REPUBLIC! Over 200 years ago, the founding of this nations had NOTHING to do with the bible and that still stands true today! Get YOUR CHURCH out of MY GOVERNMENT!

You’re sorely misinformed or a blazing fool that doesn’t read. The United States Republic was based upon the Christian Creed but what you’ve really missed is history. The majority of folks coming to this country were under persecution from their governments and opposing faiths. Many were killed before they reached here. It was their little communities with all their flaws and their backwardness that had one positive in the hat. Their faith in Christ and God His Father. They new that they were imperfect and had much to learn. Reading had just begun to be available to the public sector. They wanted knowlege and new what didn’t work and what did the best under the circumstances they were dealt with. Our Founding Fathers Prayed in meetings, before and after. They wanted Divine Guidance in setting up a Government that wouldn’t have the pitfalls of the European style of tyranny. Nearly every member of Congress and those who signed the Declaration of indipendence had a deep conviction of the influence God should have in mens lives and their govrnment. Without basic Christian Values concerning Self, Family, Home and Country and a basic understanding of their precepts the common man would never see the full capability of the workings of the Constitution or understand its intent. Those that werwe humble prospered but at great sacrafice and others simply perished spiritually and physically. The forefathers of this country constantly challenged each other in debate and practice. Most founded religious based colleges and universities knowing that intelligence was the key to understanding mans place and plight. Great blessings are still in store for this country but only if people stop ignoring the History of our Founding and quit trying to suade the uninformed into believing a bunch of guys got toether to make a new form of government on their own. Each supplicated to his personal creator for understanding while they toiled to gain further knowledge. We’ve got plenty of people with knowledge, and some think they have it all, but the reality is without divine intervention, and revelation on a personal level, man has very little understanding of the instruments and bits and pieces we’ve called knowledge. If we had it down we’d quit making mistakes.
The Founding Fathers didn’t want a state religion run by the government but they also knew that none of their religious faiths should be running the government. England would be a perfect example. . . What they never did was seperate they faith and its influence from their principles and actions in government. Ministers were apt and proper in giving sermons with information and opion concerning politics. Many folks didn’t know anything with out them. Some were better than others. Some were bad because they didn’t have a knowledge coupled with understanding of the intent of the Founding Fathers. It seems you sir are in the same boat. A good example for you to read would by “The Christian Life and Character ; of the Civil Institiutions of the United States by- Benjamin F. Morris It was the guideline then and still is. There is 1060 pages if you so dare to read it. You’ll be suprised at what you learn and from whom so much can be learned. Nearly 40 other works are cited in the preface. “The journals of the Continental Congress contain numerous appointments of thanksgiving and fast days, and the resloutions expressing the wishes of Congress upon this subject were in the form of recommendations to the executive heads of the State Governments, reciting in appropriate terms the occasions which prompted the observance, and the favors which a benign Providence had conferred upon them as a people. With one exception, Congress suspended business upon th days it had appointed for thanksgiving;” and the army unders Washington observed them with devout reverence. The official state papers are rich in Christian doctrine, and confirm the great truth that the religion of the fathes of the Revolution and the founders of our civil Govenments was the religion of the Bible. See Monday, June 12 1775 just a litttle of the attitude and actions of the Fouding Fathers. This precluded a day of Fasting and Prayer.

      Have a nice Day!
