Chicago City Council Denies Permit for Chick-fil-a to Build Restaurant Because They Won’t Promote Gay Marriage

Chicago alderman Joe Moreno says he’ll prevent a Chick-fil-A from opening in Logan Square due to the president of the chain supporting only traditional marriage of a man and woman.

Nothing surprising about this. These people in Chicago are the dregs of society and don’t try to better the horrid conditions in their city, but instead demand that a business promote gay marriage. Why in the world would the city council make this demand? Was Chick-fil-a refusing to serve homosexuals? So how can they justify the interference in this business. Are the council members all gay? The people of Chicago should demand that the council back down and not make a discriminatory decision like this. Every action taken by these people is just another way to control the masses and promote their agenda at the expense of businesses and their consumers.

This case is exactly the type of scenario Jefferson wrote about in his letter to the Babtist church from which came the phrase “separation of church and state. Precisely to protect individual belief from the state. This mayor wants to dictate what people must believe to do business in a city of the United States of America? Sounds like state crossing a dangerous line for freedom loving Americans.

I dont understand why Gay ppl have to be out. Who cares how they love or who they love. I dont go around advertising my relationships. Why do they think we have to know. I live in Tx. I workd for Chick-fil-a at the Mall. It was a horrible experience. Mostly college students but the manager was gay. I think they had to hide it from the corporation and their families. The manager was very nice and very cute small women, she recvd many flowers from another person from another company in the mall, but they were not welcomed or appreciated because she was gay. The “friend” was a woman who worked for her, there at chick-fil-a. This was back in the late 80′s. I played softball with the “friend” and it was obvious, she was the man part of the gay couple. I wasnt discriminating I am a christian and the atmosphere was so uncomfortable. I cant explain it without it sounding weird. My spirit knew theirs, they werent obvious but they did act different. Needless to say, I didnt continue with the company. I later found out that there were many other gay ppl working there.
