Police Chief In Trayvon Martin Case Fired

Sanford, Florida Police Chief Bill Lee was fired on Wednesday. Lee was heavily criticized for his initial handling of the shooting death of Trayvon Martin by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman.

    I listened to this and it appeared to me that the firing was based on ‘political correctness’ and fear of offending one community over the facts of the case.  Trayvon Martin was a hoodlum, he was not some nice kid taking a shortcut through a gated community.  He had marijuana in his system.  He had a ziplock with marijuana residue  in it on his person.  He was either coming from or going to a ‘buy’ … just look at the evidence, which clearly speaks for itself.  George Zimmerman’s account of the incident is corroborated with his injuries.

    I’m sorry that Trayvon got shot.  I’m sorry his parents have to come to terms with that …. but Trayvon was doing the wrong thing in the wrong place and at the wrong time.  He should have just kept on walking to his relative’s house but he followed Mr Zimmerman and started the altercation.  The evidence points to Trayvon Martin as the perpetrator of violence, not George Zimmerman.  

    Let’s stop this political correctness talk and look at the facts … and no more accusations of racism from the Martins because what they’re doing is reverse racism …
